Cessna Continues to Add Capabilities to Citation Mustang
Oshkosh, Wis., July 22, 2007 –
Cessna Aircraft Company, today announced at
the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh that the Citation Mustang team is developing
additional capabilities for the aircraft.
“The flight testing team
recently completed testing required for high altitude certification at El Alto
International Airport in La Paz, Bolivia,” said Mustang program manager, Russ
Meyer. “Once the certification is complete, it enables the Mustang to take off
and land at altitudes up to 14,000 feet.”
Sixteen Mustangs have been
delivered from the Independence, Kan. production facility and Cessna is on
target to ship 40 aircraft this year. The first delivery of an EASA certified
Mustang will occur in August. Brazilian certification is imminent.

the aircraft in the airport environment.
